Watts Going on in Fourth Grade

Week of September 6-9

Thank you to all of the parents who came out for Curriculum Night this past Thursday. If you missed it, here is a link to the presentation. Also, two papers were sent home at curriculum night or on Friday. These two forms include the new technology agreement, be aware of the major changes, and the student identification card. Please fill these out and have your scholar return them as soon as possible. If you have any questions about the information in this presentation, please let one of us know! We hope that you enjoyed your three day weekend and took some time to relax.

National College Colors Day

National College Colors day was a SUCCESS! Thank you to all the scholars who participated. It was exciting to hear the conversations about where parents went to school and where our scholars aspire to go in the future. Grapefest 2016- Fundraiser

DON'T MISS Cannon PTA's BIGGEST FUNDRAISER OF THE YEAR!
September 15-18, 2016

How does PTA spend money they raise?
The PTA uses the money raised to enhance learning experiences by bringing authors and other exhibits to the school, supplementing field trips, teacher supplies, issuing scholarships and offering fun activities throughout the year.

How does the parking lot fundraiser work?
GrapeFest organizers have chosen Cannon Elementary to collect and keep $5 for each car that parks in the city owned parking lots on the corner of Dallas & Main. The work is easy and most time slots are only 2 1/2 hours long. Simply sign up for a time slot (or two) and show up on your selected day. Shade, chairs, water and on the spot training will be provided to all volunteers.

Three (3) lucky volunteers will win a $100 gift card! For each shift you work you earn an additional chance to win! Names of winners to be drawn on Monday September 19th.
